Car Fest North 2015!!
I've always felt privileged being a part of my family.
The Cooper T43/51 Chevrolet F1 car originally belonged to David Hepworth, my Grand Father. It still has his bumps, scrapes, dints and damages in the original body and paint work. Restoring the car, would not be right.
This dude thinks he's famous ;)

My "big brother" Ryan Hepworth, got the opportunity to drive this magnificent beast of a car. Granddad would be proud.
Top Trumps, really did an amazing job!
The BRM P154 has been restored by Stephen Hepworth and Andrew Hepworth with help along the way from the likes of Mick Leggett, John Brooke, Ryan, Beth & Zoe Hepworth. Many others were involved too.
A massive thank you to John Brooke, who flew over to England from Canada, specifically to help restore the BRM. The reason is simple. John was David Hepworths engineer, working on the BRM and taking the car to races. This BRM you see today, is the original BRM restored to its former beauty. Although most parts were destroyed in a fire, from photographs and 3 engineers minds, the car, runs at 800 BHP, with an 8.1L engine and a fierce grumbling ROAR!
The Hepworth Ferguson 4 wheel-drive that won the British Hillclimb championship in 1969 and 1971 driven by David Hepworth had its second ever run at Cholmondley back in 2012 since David last drove it in 1976!
YES! Dancing Diggers is a thing!
So with my day at Car Fest North 2015 being closed with a cold bottle of beer and a performance from Billy Ocean, I couldn't help but think what an amazing experience it was. Roll on 2016!!
