BB, CC & DD Cream Brake Down!
I've had a lot of people ask me what the difference is and what is best for them, so here is the breakdown!
Many people struggle with BB, CC & DD Creams and which creams that they should use for their skin. Every person's skin is different and there and a huge amount of different skin types, from sensitive to oily, from smooth to dry, all sorts of different skin types and a lot of skincare ranges do cater to different skin types, for example Dermalogica and Kaeso. So finding the right BB, CC or DD cream for you will be difficult to understand.
BB Creams
BB creams are an asian import that has recently become hugely popular within the last few years. Whilst BB creams provide a great coverage whilst feeling very light on your skin, the cream is also giving you the correct skin care. BB creams are full with Anti-Oxidants and most have an SPF factor too. Whilst BB creams are lighter than foundation, they are still heavier than tinted moisturizers.
The BB Cream that I would recommend is the Body Shop Colour Adapting All-In-One BB Cream.

As most BB creams are tinted, this one is slightly different, as you can see the cream starts of as a white cream and as you massage it in, it adapts to the colour of your skin. RRP: £12.00
CC Cream
The "CC" in CC cream, generally stands for "Colour Correcting". So CC creams manage things such as redness, dark circles, out of balance melanin etc. So whilst a BB cream is light and has some skin care benefits with it, the CC cream is even lighter than the BB cream and also colour corrects the skin. So if you have blemishes or you struggle with having to paste on concealer around those eyes to hide the darkness, then a CC cream is definitely worth a try! Unfortunately I cannot recommend a CC Cream as I have never used one before, but I will be sure to find one and do a review!
DD Cream
Alongside the BB's skin care and SPF benefits and the CC's colour correcting, the DD cream focus' on more of the anti aging side of things, focusing on diminishing fine lines and wrinkles over time. As far as i'm aware the DD creams are yet to be released. But when they do I will trial one on my mother and see what the results and benefits are.
