New York Fashion Week- 2014
So as a lot of you know, it is NYFW. All I see day in, day out is people complaining about Snapchat showing them the fashion week. For me and many other fashion lovers it is just great because if we can't be there then we enjoy seeing the pictures. NYFW is hosted in February and September each year and is a semi-annual series of events, usually lasting 7-9 days, when international fashion collections are shown to buyers, the press and general public. It consists of numerous events including, Mercedes Benz, New York and MADE. NYFW is one of the major weeks in the fashion industry, along with, Paris, London, Berlin and Milan.
HOW TO KEEP UP
Many people, infact anyone who wants to keep up with NYFW can keep up with it online! Here http://newyorkfashionweeklive.com/live
On this site you can replay all the catwalks from what has been on previous days and times. This is great! Especially because a lot of people work 9-5 and miss all the in between bits! You can also chose which collections you would like to see, rather than sitting through ones you don't want to see.
WHO IS THERE 2014
There are many international and big names within the fashion industry at the NYFW. Some of these are;
MY FAVOURITE COLLECTION SO FAR
I can't say I have a favourite collection at the moment. But I am love the Style Chic At Mercedes Benz episodes. They just seem to be more like clothes you would wear on a daily basis, they aren't necessarily "runway" clothes. They are fashionable for the people who don't serve a huge interest in fashion, yet wouldn't realise that they are wearing NYFW clothes.
