River Island App Review
This is just a quick review of the River Island app. Not ever part is covered due to time and large amount of product range.
I love, love, love this app! It has amazing features and tells you everything you need to know. You can also buy products through the app! So this means you can shop on the go, whether you're travelling on a long journey or you just happen to be sat, bored at home with nothing to do, you can just click onto the app and there you have it. Shopping has never been easier.
THE LOOK
The app is simple, with the River Island logo, plain and simple, black and white, but not boring. On opening the app you are greeted with options to chose from, alongside pictures that match up with the criteria. Womens, mens, girls, boys and store finder. In the top left corner there is a button with three lines on, you can click onto this button and it comes up with a list of further options. This adds onto the above options and adds on; My River Island, my wishlist, recently viewed, change currency, inbox, settings and help and support. At the bottom there is again some more options these are; My RI, stores, shop, wishlist and bag. All in all the look and layout of the app is great, eye catching and with enough options for you to decide and navigate your way around the app with ease.
WOMENS PRODUCT RANGE
The product range on the app is only "just arrived", some people may think that is difficult for someone wanting to browse all the products from River Island. However I think this is AMAZING! There is 318 products on the woman's just arrived and it shows what they are with pictures and also the price. You can change the price ranges by clicking the sort button on the top right if you would prefer to find things within a certain price range, this is multiple choice. Also on the sort button you can change the colour and type, you can also change the "sort by" to best selling, price high to low and price low to high. When you click on a product, the app is very fast to load, starting with a picture, what it is called and the price. Each product also has more than one picture to it. In the top right corner there is an information button, clicking on this gives you all the information on the product you need including a size guide and the types of materials used. At the bottom of the product view, there is an "add to bag" button. (I imagine each section would be the same way)
STORE FINDER
The store finder can be very very handy if you're out and about and you would like to know where your nearest store is. Or even if you're in a new town and you don't know your way around. You can chose from the options of; map, local stores or all stores. To find local stores you would have to turn on your location services.
OVERALL VIEW
This app is one of my favourite apps and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to know what the new up and coming trends are going to be like. Also anyone who loves RI like I do then i'm sure you will love the app! It is very easy to use and no doubt I will catch myself browsing through on a daily basis!
